BBC MICRO:BIT FOUNDATION PROMO FILM

BBC LEARNING

BRIEF

After BBC Learning distributed a ‘Micro:Bit’ to every Year 7 pupil in the UK to inspire a generation of young coders, a foundation was set up to continue its legacy.

To celebrate its success we created ‘Robots Replace Teachers’, a three minute  film featuring students interacting with the Micro:Bit, shot in the style of a music video.

Over two days at a school in East London we teamed up with Dr Who’s Cyber Men, Sir Killalot from Robot Wars and over 50 students.

We led on the creative, storyboarding, casting and production. By using two production teams over two days we managed to capture all the content for this ambitious project.
