To mark the centenary of the end of the First World War and Cadbury’s partnership with the Royal British Legion, Snappin’ Turtle was the lead agency in developing a fitting creative which worked equally as paid-for visual content and PR-able assets.
We researched the history of the Cadbury employees and told the stories of ‘The Chocolate Soldiers’ and ‘The Cadbury Angels’.
Firstly, we restored and colourised archive photos from the archives of Bourneville and University of Birmingham. We then animated the pictures to bring the stories to life like never before.
To incorporate Cadbury’s charity partner, the Royal British Legion, into the visual campaign we cast beneficiaries of the charity to narrate the stories of the Cadbury employees of 100 years ago.
